I put 3 heaped teaspoons of drinking chocolate in a mug and add just a tiny drop of milk. Stir milk into chocolate to make a creamy smooth paste. Then pour some more milk to fill the mug and put in the microwave for a couple of minutes or until hot. Take out and stir to make it nice and frothy and add squirty cream on top!!

Put in however much powder it tells you to, add some clotted cream and whisk with one of those cappuccino frothers. Slowly add hot milk bit still stirring/whisking. Add a pyramid of squirty cream, mini marshmallows, a dusting of cocoa powder and half a Cadbury's Flake.
Have to say, I can’t go without my frother thing when making a hot choc now.  However for something different, in the same way you’d have a flake/marshmallows etc, add Maltesers.  There’s something about the way they melt in the hot choc that can make some of the malty bit inside a little bit chewy… does it for me!

i always add a spoonful of coffee mate as well as milk it gives it a nicer taste

couple of squares of chocolate in the bottom of a mug (dark works best) pour over the hot milk and stir. delish but rather decadent.
Pour in a little whisky, crushed Amaretto bisquits,A drop of Brandy, cream from a bottle of jersey gold top,Whisk, and grate maccademia70per cent cocoa solids.Drink it, and then go down the pub!!
Wobble down the pub, surely?
same as morg_monster's but with a little cinnamon added in to it.  You don't need whipped cream and marshmallows to make hot chocolate great ^_^

Do you actually like that In A Pickle, my mum bought some and we ended up throwing it out because nobody liked it.
However chocolate buttons, some baileys and milk in a mug, put in microwave and et voila, heaven in a mug. Alternatively, drink the baileys and eat the chocolate buttons, yum.
Green and Blacks hot chocolate, made with the amount advised on the label, mixed with a small amount of milk (as various people above have said) then topped up with hot milk. Then whack a bit of Kahlua in (as much as you like), and you're away!
Simply buy some Chocomel from the local shop and heap, much better than anything else with no hassle! Yum!
