I had my mum up yesterday and to stay last night.

She's a real cat person by Heathcliffe just pretty much ignored her and seemed quite huffy she was there.

He's usually really good round people, does the token flop with his "love me I'm gorgeous" look. He's also a regular feature at the neighbours' flat, who love him to bits.

I thought she was imagining it at first but he really was ignoring her.

Anyone any idea why? She will have smellt of her cat more than likely but then so would I have as been home a few times in the last week.

He's happy as larry again tonight now it's just me and him.

Methinks that he doesn't want to share you. If you are paying attention to your mother then he is losing out.

Doesn't he realise that your mother is his granny?

Silly little boy !

I know bless him and she loves him!

She buys him presents and has even bought and wrapped him a Christmas present and is planning to make him up a turkey parcel from Christmas dinner.

I wondered how she'd be about me and him as she's a lot stricter than me with her cats, I'm a softy and he sleeps on my bed and gets leftovers and is generally spoilt but she thinks he's great.

I think she was quite upset he was ignoring her, and staring her out when she wasn't talking to him!
cats can be aloof with visitors especially when its on their own territory.
aww bless him maybe he was jealous and just wanted you his mummy all to himself.
Jenna... All cats are mad.. surely you'd realised that by now !

I've been having a bit of work done in my house (by an old mate of mine, who's also a builder)... he loves cats (has two of his own) but only BigThug would even stay in the same room as him whilst he was here.... WeeThug - the adventurous, mischievous, outgoing, into everything, little miss curiousity, hid under the dining all the time he was here..bizarre or what ? I thought WeeThug would be trying to help him but nope... she hid away whist scaredycat herself, BigThug, was a right royal wee ******* hehe..
