Javascript Shopping Cart?

I am very well versed in HTML and have a tiny bit of knowledge of JavaScript (rollovers mostly, but I tend to learn fairly quickly). I wanted to create a shopping cart with JavaScript. Anyone had any experience with this or know how easy that would be?

It's possible in Javascript, but far more efficient in a server-side scripting language - any particular reason why you can't use server-side scripting?

'lisaj', the only reason I am looking at JavaScript is because I have the original version of "Jshop" (the free one), but am having trouble jumping from a none secure site to a secure one (the basket becomes empty). Any idea if the original Jshop can be easily changed or used across all browsers?

I know nothing of JShop, however the quickest way would be to encapsulate the whole lot in a parent frameset, with an additional hidden frame. Store all your ongoing variables in this frame, and then all other pages could reference and change these variables.
