Did anyone else think that the Welsh comedian stole the show at the Royal Command Performance, I thought he was brilliant!

Rod Gilbert (the Welsh comedian) was brilliant.
ps. For last years C.I.N he & several other Welsh celebs learned Welsh as a challenge. They sang in Welsh on the show televised in Wales.
He was very funny. I also like the group who used their voices to make instrument noises. Rest of it was pretty naff and sadly enough the kid who won Britains Got Talent (can't even remember his name) wasn't up to scratch either I thought!
Who was the blonde singing with Brian May?
Missed the intro.
Not being pedantic, but he is RHOD Gilbert - the Rhod being short for Rhodri (a Welsh name).
Personally, I think John Barrowman was the best :o)
Blonde was Kerry Ellis, one of the stars of the stage show Wicked
The annoying thing about Rhod Gilbert was that he spent his whole act SHOUTING.

Go back and watch it again, and he SHOUTS everythng.

The opening act, Pusycat Dolls, were TERRIBLE.

They were like five girls from a lap dancing club, who had chosen one who was a slightly better singer than the rest to be the lead singer.

As a lead singer she was very poor, and the four behind did hardly any signing, just the odd "oh" and "ah"

Totally inappropriate act.

> audience

Many of these comedians make a nice living presenting at company events, giving out awards etc.

So they have their two "acts", the act they do when on tour, full of swearing and near the knuckle humour, and the act they do when presenting at a corporate event for Sony or whoever.

I think Jimmy Carr did a very clever act last night. Nothing too controversial, lots of simple jokes and quick one liners (and a few "clever" play on words").

Did not stay on too long, or overstay his welcome, and left you wanting more.

Judged his act just right for a royal command performance.

Unlike those two prats who did the "I love you" routine. Talk about totally getting it wrong.
I just thought there was far too much singing, which I found incredibly boring.
kerry ellis, rhod gilbert and naturally 7 did it for me.

everyone else was crap tbh :D
and what is it with that comedian michael whats his face, i dont find him funny?

not the best RVP to be honest, george samspon hardly lived up to himself, simon cowell said he was gonna be on his own, err he had like 20 other people with him?
OOPS. Sorry osprey lol. I should have realised that being a taffy myself.
