are you a man, perchance?
dont think you get spots wi flu, better get the doctor out
You can see and think clearly enough to type this post, and WANT to do it?

That's not flu - that's a cold.

Your spots could be sweat rash
Sounds like man-flu Ethel, lol. I had REAL flu recently, it was so bad I couldn't lift my head off the pillow for nearly a week. Took a month for me to feel completely back to normal.
I was going to say the same as Ethel. I had REAL flu two christmas's ago and believe me, you wouldnt even have the energy to type this out. It is horrible, as opposed to a cold which although makes you feel miserable (i have one at the moment) you can actually function to an extent.
When we had it, i said to my ex, "i bet you will NEVER say you have the flu now when you have a cold" and he agreed.
On the plus side, you should start to feel better really soon if you've had it since sunday.
Chicken pox?
Last time I had flu some years ago I was laid low for 3 weeks and got pleurisy as a complication . I would find out what the rash is as it may be something else making you feel off , have you had all the usual childhood diseases ?
Hope you get well soon :-)
Hi all.
Jonah- like mamma said, have you had all the usual childhood illnesses, like measles etc? My son (aged 33) has got chicken pox at the moment, he never had it as a child x
Nar thats not flu, there is noway you could even move your fingers or eyes to be able to put a post on here, i had flu quite a few years ago, and i was as sick as a dog,if there was a 20 note on the pavement outside my bedroom window i couldn`t have got out of bed to get it, thats the flu!
lol thats what they say tamirra, if you see a 10 pound note floating round the garden,.... if you go and get it, its a cold, if you leave it, its flu!

I think with the spots though it could be something else. Get checked out to be sure jonah! Hope you are feeling loads better soon.
I think the spots relate to heat rash because you've been feeling sorry for yourself and wrapping up just too warm. You've got a cold mate, get yourself up, dress warmly and get some fresh air. lol

I've had flu twice and I could make a cup of tea etc (had too) if you've got spots you need to seek medical advice, place a glass on em see if they disappear as it could (doubt it though) be meningitis it may be chicken pox which again in adult (like all childhood diseases) can be very serious.
Sweet dreams....
P.S.
Try getting hold of some ginger tea it fixed my cold up a treat the other day, I pass it out to whoever spluttering at work as I'm very susceptiable to chest infections at the moment.
