Have you pointed out that it makes her seem unapproachable, threatening or like a stupid chav? Whether she's going to be joining uni or looking for a job its going to be unapproachable. Try slyly recording it and showing her how horrible it looks.

Hi zzxxee , she's probably typical of many teenagers , I hear them in the streets and shopping centre and every other word seems to be an expletive . It must be hard to hear coming from the sweet mouth of your little girl . I don't know how you can deal with it honey . I've never heard my son ever swear . not to say he doesn't , I just wouldn't know because he never does when he's home .

I blame the parents.

Chavs?
Teenagers swearing is common unfortunately :(

Earlier today I heard our neighbours 2 year old grandson saying that something tasted f***ing disgusting, his grandad replied,"does it?" and the child repeated it. Not one of the adults present told him not to swear!
I'd tell her to shut the f11ck up!
But then i am no help really.
it's a shame, but most "kids" have grown up in a time where it's just a part of their everyday language. I hate it (although I'm capable of dropping a few myself, but I know there's a time and a place) but they don't treat it as anything out of the norm.

part of my job involves interviewing people (not for jobs!) and they do drop swear words all the time. I used to tell them to pack it in, but now I try to ignore it.

but your daughter needs to learn the "time and place" rules.. and certainly not within your earshot.
I had a foul mouth girly in my face last
week and told her to sex and travel ...
she didn't like it ..this was in a car park ..
they hate some one older who stands up
for themselves ...what happened to
respect ..and manners ..sorry on a rant ..
record it and play it back when you can
really embarrass her ..
Whenever someone I know swears I always say "Your language is f***ing disgraceful"!

Hope this helps.
