Tom Tom GPS Time Setting

Hello,

Does anyone know how to set the time on the Tom Tom GPS device? I find the help options very confusing on their own site and have not been able to find anything where I can set the time or my location more specifically than United States. You'd think the thing would know what time it is since it knows where it is but still my device is always 5 hours ahead, very frustrating. Any help is appreciated!

Two possible ways:-

1 - Menu, Settings, Time/Date, change and then save the settings

2 - With clear skies overhead, take the tom tom outside and press the Sync button (if you have one)...this should pick up correct time from the satellite (hence the need for clear skies)
