My cousin has shorter hair than you i'd say, and she always curls her hair. She has these amazing ones, they're by Fudge - i'm not sure what kind though sorry.

I'd definitely check them out though, they are quite pricey, but her hair looks fanastic!

My daughter has some Nicky Clarke curling tongs and they are brilliant.
She bought them for about �12 in a supermarket (Co-Op?) but I think Boots sell them.
