Previous ID still on site

Whinge number 3, my original ID, dothawkes, is still showing on the site when you put it in the search bar, is there a reason why this ID should not actually be usable? It was non-usable from Nov 1st 2005 when the cloning started after the coloured bachgrouns scam that a few of us were stung with. I waited until Jan 2006 to register dot.hawkes because I anticipated the reinstaement of the original one.
