Have just heard on the news that baby Hope, one of the conjoined twins has died whist being separated at Gt Ormond Street Hospital.

It's so sad, especially after seeing pictures of her & her sister Faith cuddled up together only yesterday.

Bless them.

I don't mind being referred to as a 'clucking' hen AOG!

I had one of those once & she instinctively & caringly took great care of her brood!

Thanks Mum!
Many are throwing the word 'Tactless' about today, so I might as well join in jake-the-peg.

I was just going to thank you for your little support, but then you had to spoil it all by your rather tactless comment about oldgits.

Referring to my comment about the use of skilled surgical teams.

I was not saying that they should have had a termination because of the cost etc of the team.

I was pointing out that if they have had decided on a termination that team would have been free to use their skills on other cases.

I once made a comment about a certain X Factor contestant needing a Harley Street specialist to diagnose a case of laryngitis, and was pulled over the coals and told "if she had not gone to the exclusive specialist she would have been taking up the valuable time of her local GP."

You cannot win on this site, some of you just like to be damn right obnoxious.
AOG. Jake's wasn't a tactless comment. It was a light hearted bit of fun. I think you are being slighly oversensitive about things. I am probably in the same agegroup as you and if I had a user name such as 'Grumpy Old Woman' (which I admit to being more often than not) I would expect some harmless digs.
Question Author
Grumpy Old Women happens to be one of my favourite programmes LL & can relate to a lot of what's said on there! They crack me up!

We're all going to be 'old gits' one day AOG (well the men are)!

Don't think everyone's having a personal dig at you, we're just responding to some of your comments!

Now go & put that kettle on & warm your tootsies by the fire! ;o}
I think you are being slighly oversensitive about things.</i.

Can you blame me lottie after all the flack I have taken over this?

Incidently no one has mentioned that the couple have another daughter Carly, 18 months.

Has anyone gave a thought about this little tot, is she being well cared for while her parents are otherwise engaged?
Why wouldn't she be well cared for AOG. I can't think why you would wonder about this! Believe it or not Mums make provision for their little ones when they go into hospital to have their babies - yes even young Mums. Don't assume these are irresponsible parents just because of their age!
I am losing my sympathy totally for you now!!
What's new, did you have any in the first place?

Back again....

AOG - in the last few years, our eldest daughter has been in & out of hospital for months at a time. Her young daughters have stayed with us & been very well cared for.

Whatever makes you think this couple's other little girl might not be taken care of in the same way, by either a doting grandmother, or other members of her family?

Weh! I'm out of here, I can't take on 'modern woman' all by myself.

One knows a Woman is always right, or at least that is what they constantly tell us.

They won't be happy until Man can give birth.

Question Author
A man give birth? They wouldn't be able to take the pain or the pace AOG!

Have nice evening. ;o}
I lost my first baby when I was 19 and all these years later I still remember the worst remark that people made was "never mind, you're only young, there will be other children" They didn't inderstand that at that time I wanted THAT baby.
Question Author
Hi horselady - sorry I didn't reply to your answer, but have been very busy since Wednesday.

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your first baby. It doesn't matter how young you were, or how long ago it was, it's something you never forget.

No one can fully understand what it's like until they've experienced it themselves.

Take care. -xx-
