LAst night I saw a show on telly about army chefs) and sicovered that "truffles" are some sorta fungus that grows on oak trees.....

and i thought it was choccies etc

Yes wild truffles grow under trees but you need a pig or
two to sniff them out.!! No comments,please.

We want to make some "choccy" ones to give as Xmas presents but we are not sure how long they will keep especially if one ingredient is fresh cream.
