What interesting fact have you just discovered recently?

I always imagined 'Itchycoo Park' (as in Small Faces' song) to be in America somewhere. And had a lot to do with drug taking.

In fact - it is a place in Ilford - rumoured to be so-called because of (a) it being full of stinging nettles & you keep itching (!) or (b) full of hairy seeds from the rosehip which children in the 50's called "itchycoos" & dropped down each others shirt backs!

Now - not a long of people know that. And I for one found that very interesting. Anyone else?
