Ethel, you are naughty lol
I used to nick 'em off the dog when I was a small kid...
isnt dog chocolate a version of carob?

It just amused me that 'choc' drops for dogs were sort of chocolate flavoured.
if I shout on you Ethel will you heel straight away and sit nice?
they're the 'sweepings' off the choccy factory floor.

woof woof!
Chocolate is toxic to dogs so these are made from carob. I wouldn't want to try them since I'm not sure they would come up to the standard demanded by our hygiene regulations. I had a friend whose little girl pinched the whole box of doggie chox and ate them all - she had a bad tummy for a couple of days. :)

Daisymae - I remember biscuits being sold loose from open boxes on the grocer shop floor. Little children would surreptitiously take a bite or lick them; customers dogs would sniffing round; people coughing and sneezing and I dread to think where the shop cat slept.

I'm not so squeamish.
humans can buy carob from holland and barrett
I have eaten them before,I agree that they aren't as bad as you'd think they would be.
bonio biscuits are okay as well :D
we used to eat "Tailwaggers" bone shaped chocolate.

We also had a Diabetic man that used to buy these for himself.

Rather tasty.
