I have a Dell Dimension 5100 with a v.92 data fax modem - how fo I tell if it has wireless capability - there is no aerial on the back of the pc!

Just to add, it's a desktop, why would you want it to be wireless

Were thinking about moving it upstairs and now have wireless router free - but thanks for the thought.

so scrap the modem ... unless you want a fax

Chuck is right ... but if it has to be wireless ... get one of those laptop dongles plus a USB "extension lead" - that way you should get a signal.
