The only bit of information that I know that may help. William Wallace was executed at Elms near Smithfield.

Christopher Hatton was at Ely Place, and Ely Place is off Charterhouse Street which is mentioned in the fourth clue.

I'm assuming all four clues are streets around the diamond or something. Puzzled.

Probably way off the mark though!
