I am struggling for ideas for a Christmas prezzie for my boyfriend. His only interests is footy, footy and footy and driving (he does a driving job). I dont really want to get him anything to do with football (he's a season ticket holder). He doesn't really wear jewellery/watches (apart from the odd ring here and there). I'm off to NY for Christmas and New Year and was thinking of getting him something from there, but I don't have a clue. HELP

How about some sexy underwear (for you)

Believe me, he'll be thrilled!

Yea, but I won't be here for him to enjoy it ;-)
I dont know how much you are looking to spend but what about an off roading experience or a day in a ferrari or something like that?

Or if he likes a bit of a thrill, how about an adrenaline experience like zorbing?

Try looking on websites like
www.buyagift.co.uk
www.exhilaration.co.uk
www.thegiftexperience.co.uk

Prices start from about 20

That's a really good idea. I will definately check that out. Thanks Kimbles
Whilst in New York pop into Victorias Secret, there's one opposite Macys front door, and get him a belated present from you!

That belated present sounds like a good idea
My ex did a rally driving experience from a red letter day present and had a great day.

Macy's do pretty good bargains for designer stuff like Levis jeans. There's also a place called century 21 down by the former World Trade Center site, horrible looking place and I wasn't impressed but some people rave over the bargains to be had clothes wise.

Macys is more like Debenhams whereas Bloomingdales is more like Selfridges.

They have an Apple shop at the top of 5th Ave near where Central Park starts if he likes gadgets and such, a lot of that is much cheaper but make sure it is all compatible.

Oh, if you've not been before, beware the difference in voltage, neither my hairdryer nor straighteners would work properly :(

Thanks for all the advise and tips Jen78.

It is my first trip to NY, and I am soooo looking forward to it. Any advise is much appreciated.

How long did the driving experience last?
It was a whole afternoon as there were quite a few people but they did it in teams so not long waiting between drives.

He got to drive 4 different cars from memory.

It was at the everyman circuit in Loughborough.

Are you on Facebook, have got piccies of the rallying day and New York on there.

If you e.mail me on [email protected] I can add you (this is just an igconito account for on here) or I'm on the Answerbank and Chatterbank groups on Facebook.
