Morning jayne, I tht a thread on "tingly tongue" may get you going. Fond memories of Brighton, Royal Sussex County Hospital, Plough at Rottingdean etc.
We love it there. It's a proper, pubby pub. Although I think we like the location, more than the pub. Rottingdean is so jolly, with the pond. It's just like a real village (although it gets a lot of tourists).
Maybe.bellabee (sounds like the first line of a song LOL LOL, B12 deficiency produces a sore tongue, tamiira describes her husband symptoms as "tingling" tongue.
Can't think of anything better though.
A tingling tongue is a classic symptom of insufficient calcium in your body. This is usually due to poor diet. (e.g. some people shun dairy products, which are rich in calcium, because they're concerned about the fat content, while forgetting that they need the calcium provided by dairy products). Another cause is problems with the parathyroid glands, which regulate calcium levels in the body.
tamirra, we DO have your problem at heart and I do not believe glpblondie means to be rude. The symptoms in isolation are very odd and as I have said to not bring anything to mind and perhaps you may need to wait for the development, or not, of further symptoms. Ca.deficiency and Parathyroid disorders are extremely uncommmon.
