i know this was posted earlier, but Quinlad was careful not to post a link especially from the Daily Mail, well here it is.

I am not a member of this political party or any other for that matter, but I feel I must speak out over this. Where is this country going? This is all reminiscent of 1930s Germany. Members have lost their jobs, Servicemen have had their service numbers published, and even children are named on this Left-Wing list of targeted members of a legal political party. What next a widespread witch-hunt, and bricks through their windows? With tactics such as these it is becoming obvious that we have more to fear from the Left than we have from the Far-Right.

Ironically Talk-Sport who have in the past sacked James Whale and have now sacked BNP member Rod Lucas, are continuing to allow Left-Wing George Galloway to air his alleged anti-British views on the air.

a left-wing list? It's the BNP's own list, isn't it? And the speculation is it was leaked by a dissatisifed BNP member. I can't really see a communist conspiracy behind this one.

And I'm all in favour of transparency in public life - aren't you?
"I feel I must speak out."

Wow, that's pompous. Anyway...

You do know that it wasn't the Left that published these details? There's a schism in the Far Right and this is the act of a disaffected former BNP member. That's common knowledge now. Even the BNP admit it. It's knuckle-head civil war, nothing to do with the lefties.

Personally, I don't approve of a breach of confidentiality. We should operate on a don't-ask-don't-tell basis. But once it's out of the box, I can see how a public sector employee's position could be untenable, if say, they're a teacher in East London and it turns out that they actively want all the black kids gone.

I think Galloway is treated different becuase his message is one of tolerance towards Muslims, rather than hatred of whites. It's the hatred thing that - quite reasonably - is considered dangerous, not just by the left, but even by the most right-wing Tory.

Anyway, what do you mean "now"? I thought you'd always been afraid of the Left?
Frightened of the left? Don't you mean right?

Allegedly, the list was posted by an embittered ex-BNP staff member who fell out with the leadership. The fellow is from the right not the left.

I had better not name the fellow, but he was until recently, the BNP's treasurer. Looks like this is an act of sabotage on his ex-employer.
Theres a huge difference between not 'giving the BNP the time of day' and being scared of political competition; dont the major parties slate each other all the time in an attempt to discredit?
They do but they'll come together to for cross-party co-operation where there are common values.

One of those common values is an abhorance to mindless racicst thugs
