Sad Mother? Bebo addict!

My mother spends hours on end, almost daily, trawling through bebo pages belonging to friends of my sisters (she is 17) including an ex boyfriends (of about 2 years) and his new girlfriend and people who my sister has had arguments with and now has little or no contact with. Mother then goes on to drag up the past telling my sister all the goings on between people that she wants nothing more to do with! My sister has changed her password to her bebo account but my mother now googles names to gain access to the site instead!! She maintains that she is merely showing an interest in my sisters life, I however think that this is an unhealthy obsession. Your opinions please. TIA!
