Why would you want compensation? Far to many people eager to get their pennies worth for a mistake that can be easily rectified

Call them and ask them why your ad wasn't in? Easy, they can then have it in this weeks edition

Yes, just ensure that they print it in the next edition. Maybe you missed the deadline for that particular edition.

I'm no sure wxactly what you want compensation for, assuming your ad does eventually get published, you haven't actually suffered any losses have you?

not compensation as such, but you can just ask for your money back as they didn't perform their side of the bargain. But make sure, as others have suggested, that you didn't just miss their deadline and they print it next week.
