Mark Lamarr Vs Simon Astell???

I love the buzzies and was upset when mark la marr went,but have so say simon has stepped up to the mark and is even more cutting, cant decide who is the best though!!!

I dont find Simon funny at all and going by the rapid decline in viewing figures others agree. He is arrogant and pugnacious

I gave up watching it when Amstell took over - he's rude without wit unlike Lamarr who was rude and funny at the same time.

I've also stopped watching since Simon took over. He isn't funny and doesn't know or care as much about music.

I loved Mark Lamarr - seriously funny with an acid wit.

Siom Amstell is just weird - he has a twelve-year-old's voice, face and hair, but look at his hands and arms - they look like they belong to a lumberjack, and have been grafted on! And his new haircut .....

I must admit I like Simon Amstell more than I thought I would do. Having seen him previously on other shows, I found him very irritating, but he's not so bad after all. That said, I really find little reason to watch it regularly now that the mighty Bill Bailey has departed. :-(

People who've met him keep telling me how very nice and intelligent Simon is, and others just agree that he's very good on the show. That may be so, but I just cannot like the guy.

He doesn't seem to have Lamarr's quick wit, somehow. He reminds me of the kid in the playground who stands on the sidelines laughing at jokes he doesn't even get just so that he can feel included.

I still think Phill's lovely, though - he's my fave on there.

Mark has a fabby Radio 2 show, Thursday evenings - Shake, Rattle and Roll.

His reggae show will be returning to Radio 2 in March,

He knows his music and they are both fantastic shows
