I am really annoyed at myself. For years n years with several printers I have only bought Genuine Ink - no messing around with refills etc.
Recently I thought, why am I paying 40 odd when others pay 15, and bought remanufactured cartridges.

I cannot get my cartridges to align and it appears to be due to the new black cartridge. No black ink coming out, I feel like ive been conned in a way as they were advertised as 'suitable for HP PSC 2179' printer when they obviously arent.

Is it just my bad luck? lol or do others find this is wasted money?

I have been buying cartridges from these people for ages for My Epson Photo R 220. Excellant results no probs, compare their prices.Ron.

I had a HP inkjet printer years ago and it was very dissapointing. Tortuous paper path jammed regularly. Constant nozzle blockages. It was ridiculously expensive to buy original cartridged as the print head was included.

It worked a lot better with Calidad refill ink but was never great. I would never buy a HP printer.

I had a good run from a Cannon 550 with both original and Calidad ink. Never jammed and blockages only became a problem after several years. Probably needed a new print head but I had gotten the value from it and decided to replace it with a colour laser.
