Hi all. It seems no one has anything positive to say recently and I'm finding it hard to deal with all the doom and gloom. I'm normally a really positive person annoyingly so some have said. How do you deal with doom and gloom. If anyone has some happy news they woudl like to share I would love to hear it.

I am really not letting this recession biz get me down, it may all be over early 2009 and we just have to ride the current storm and think nice things lol

Some of my friends have been made redundant and I myself might be soon, with a brand new mortgage etc but hey ho there is nothing can be done
so

Try to keep in an upbeat frame of mind and shine !

If only the media would give us something nice eh, its they who bring us down often I have stopped buying newspapers.
Hey Sal just remember money is not everything and at the end of the day "Your health is your Wealth,life is full of doom and gloom but we just gotta take the bad times with the good,the best thing to do is avoid all the people you know who are moaning on to you because they will just depress you more than you think. Read this its so true!!
Infection: Avoid the Unhappy and Unlucky

You can die from someone elses misery emotional states are as infectious as disease. You may feel you are helping the drowning man but you are only precipitating your own disaster. The unfortunate sometimes draw misfortune on themselves; they will also draw it on you. Associate with the happy and fortunate instead.

As I always say: Negative attracts negative. Avoid it at all costs. No matter what happens in life if you can keep up a positive attitude and not be dragged down (not always easy, I know that) the negative won't get to you. I have people around me going through divorces, losing jobs (my husband included), have health problems etc but we're still here, got food, got a roof over our heads (and even if that goes the state won't leave you on the streets).
Positive attracts positive.
Recession? Me & most of mine managed to get through the one in the early/mid 70's & are still here to tell the tale.

I try to think of what it was like for people during the war, when food was rationed, no washing machines, no tumble dryers, no microwaves, no fridges, no freezers 'full of food that's been in there for so long, you can't remember what is in there', no hair dryers, no irons, no tv's, no computers, no this that & the other......

Seriously, things may not seem to be as good as they have been in the past, for lots of people, but as long as you & your loved ones have reasonable good health (forgetting aches & pains), then you'll get by somehow. ;o}
