I have been given a beautiful purple Cordyline as a present. It is a large plant, therefore for the patio. How should I care for it? I live in Scotland & I am also concerned about it's wellbeing in colder weather.

Any advice? Thanks in advance!

don't do anything with mine --I live in Wales--but iIbelieve you should pull up the leaves in winter and tie with something like a pair of ladies tights to protect against heavy snow
I had a wonderful cordyline also.  1st winter I covered it from the snow.  This winter I lost it before December was out.  Do sorry don't know what is the best solution.  I also live in N.E. Scotland.
