Prescription steroids and alcohol

I've just been put on a 5 day course of steroids to get rid of a pesky cough that i cant shake off. What are the dangers of having a couple of beers while on these? Doc didn't advise to avoid alcohol and it doesnt seem to say anything about it on the pack or instructions. Have googled it but no joy. Any ideas?

Most of the time, taking alcohol while on medication is not a good idea.
Anyway, I think you can consult your doctor make sure that you are not risking.
