Hi, lift your bonnet up look in the area of the rear of the light there should be a plastic cover on the reverse side of the light remove this cover+ the Elc plug, This plug goes to the light, You will see a metal spring clip at the back of the light undo the clip take note how the bulb is removed, when you replace with new do not touch the glass on the bulb as this will cause the bulb to fail.

Thanks for your response, but I already know all that ....its the lack of room thats causing the problem, and I wondered if there was another way
The lack of room or amount of dismantling required on certain models has caused Halfords to refer some customers to a main dealer for bulb changes! So, not an uncommon problem these days. Having very small hands is apparently an asset!
Halfords will replace it for a fiver
