PSS 757 texture problem using Vista and FS2004

Hi, I am using vista and love my flying. I have just got my new laptop so as soon as I got it I installed FS2004 and that worked fine. I then went to install the PSS 757 and the plane installed but the textures didn't. This is so annoying. All the textures I have for it dont work. I want to know WHY? WHY wont they work? Is it because of vista? They work fine on Windows XP. Can someone please give me an answer and how to get them to work. Thanks.

I think you've answered your own question. The problem is with Vista.

Microsoft have gone out of their way to make FSX work with Vista, but from what I've read and seen, FS2004 has some issues with it.

If you can upgrade to FSX and the laptop will take it, then I'd recommend that. I believe PSS and most other add-on developers have patches for Vista available
