I often see things on the news that are bad accidents, but do you find things effect you more when they are in a way closer to home?

On the news at the minute, although only a small article, is about an explosion in Welwyn today, and it was in a building that I walk past every day and is minutes from my work. One person has now been confirmed dead.

Just find things get to me more when they are so close!

Is that just me?

The traffic was mayhem and alot of roads were closed, however getting irritated stuck in traffic on the way home now seems so little! :-(

My son rang to tell me as we have family in WGC, there's also armed police in Park Street Luton, Why don't local radio stations keep you informed?

Which is the Welwyn and Hatfield times which has been updated regularly since I got home this evening.

We heard about it once when we were on the way home on the local radio, and that was only during the traffic reports!
gosh, I'm in St Albans.. okay, so it's not Buncefield but it's pretty shocking.
