ummmm, i have been in engineering for most of my working life, but can turn my hands to most things.

sorry tony, the mids seem to be the worst hit at the moment.
see if any of the shop fitting companies in the area are busy and hiring. believe it or not it seems the banks are the ones refitting branches at the moment!

good luck tony, as a fellow brummie, I know how hard work is to find in the midlands Im surprised there are still engineering jobs left!

I would move away from manufacturing, the service sector seems to have the most jobs at the minute
