Just wondering if there is any Jem fans out there, no one i know has ever heard any of her music but i love it!

Yes, I believe there was a solo artist called Jem signed to Virgin Records about 6/7 years ago.  She was from the US I think. They released a single but that might have been all, as it didn't catch on in the UK.

There was an american cartoon in the 80's called Jem.  It was about a rock star and her band "the Holograms" I know the dolls came with cassettes of music.

I was going to say that the last person I remembered called Jem was a cartoon character from the 80's...I thought I was the only one who'd ever seen her - I actually remember getting up early in the morning to watch that stuff....God love me, I was young and innocent!

Obviously this is not the same stuff you're looking for now....?

Sorry to be so slow on the uptake but yes! I love her. Have just posted a question asking what people think of her album - finally woken which was released recently(as you probably know!)
