here is my 2nd attempt at a response - first one didn't go through!

I dont see why not, my 13 week old kitten has learned to wash her paws after going to the litter tray - she comes out and dips her paws in the water, shakes them, dips them again then licks them. We kept finding litter in her water dish and now we know why. Clever little thing - if I could only manage to teach my sons the same thing then I would be happy!

Oh-that's funny!!...she needs a little paw (finger ) bowl...;-))
I know - I don't know why, but the thought of her drinking the water that she is washing her feet in is quite disgusting, but at the same time, I know that she must lick her bottom all the time! - I wish I could get her to do the housework while we are out. She does collect all the socks of the drying rack and drag them back to her "lair" otherwise known as the cardboard box with the hole in it that she prefers to the lovely pink igloo that we bought her - if only she could pair them up and stick them in the drawers.
Cats are so clever ..our Lucky black cat
sits on the window sill waiting for me to
come home, as soon as she hears the car
engine she goes to sleep ..
