Should these two face prosecution and even banned from the BBC?
If these calls had been to an ethnic it would have been classed racist, and their feet would have not touched the floor.
I know before any wit makes the remark that Manuel is an ethnic (Spanish), it was only the part he played.

well said Quinlad - it's a comedian who relies on shock tactics, and an aging presenter trying to appear young and trendy, getting carried away like a couple of teenagers. It should not have been broadcast, but it was and so both they and the producer need to make public and personal apologies, be docked a few weeks wages and that should be the end of it. It's hardly worthy of the public outrage, especially from all those people who are listening to it on Youtube specifically to be get outraged.

Doc.Spock made a perfectly reasonable comparison, regarding the ********. He was trying to get over to some of the "not so quick on the uptake" individuals on this site, what a different approach would have been taken if the slightest hint of racial inference had been suggested.
If Ross or Brand had telephoned a Black person and said he had won a bunch of bananas, so could he swing down to the studio and pick them up, would those on here who think it is all right to phone an old man and tell him one had had sex with his granddaughter, also think the connection between bananas and blacks funny?

But I along with many more are getting increasingly annoyed with these groups constantly voicing their anger over the least thing, and calling for people to be sacked and with some groups putting a death sentence on anyone who offends them.
