Blue Christmas wasn't Elvis!!! It was the British Pop Group Mud, the lead singer, think his name was les Read ? did a soundalike. I met him once in about 1976, his group did a tour of record shops in the North West arranged by the northern EMI rep and he came into the one I worked in in Ormskirk and the fans went wild, they nearly pushed the flippin counter over to get at him!!!! He was quite frightened and just turned to me and laughed in a pretty scary panicky way!!!! I was too busy trying to stop the counter pushing over onto us .
