This problem is going to happen every night I'm afraid.
As soon as the ED goes home, the vile greenies come out of hiding protesting, really, that they have been unfairly dismissed, as it were. It's a hidden message to the powers that be, saying...'you will never be rid of me'.

Some sort of system does need to be set up, I agree. I'm not technically minded so I can't suggest anything.

The best thing to do is to ignore the poster, which is difficult I know for some, because they all want to have 'a swipe' at him.
simply reporting will not get rid of the post until 9am the next morning.

the one I think you mean seems to have gone now, but was still there after 9am. But I guess the Ed has to get his feet under his desk before he can start pushing the exterminate button.

I think it would be easier if the ED could find a way to stop anyone registering a name between the hours of 5.00 pm and 8.00am, and also at week ends.
At least that way the Ed would be able to remove any childish offenders whilst he is in the office !

In fact the BBC Sport 606 forum has a note on the site which says that registrations and postings are not permitted between certain times. I guess that is when moderators are away from the office.
