TV cable thingies!!

Does anyone know the definitive way of fastening all the cables together at the back of the tv etc??
I have a digi box wich can record, a virgin box thingy on cable, and a dvd player! I am not that bothered about the dvd player being fastened up, but the order of what goes where with the others just bewilders me!! O by the way I have a digital tv thingy and it has 2 scart connections at the back. One say rgb video, and the other says rgb s video. Aaaaaah!!!! please help. Regards.

What do you mean by 'thingy'?
There should be diagrams in the handbooks that go with each item on how to connect.
Or do you mean something to keep the leads tidy?
