I have been musing on his rabid homophobic, racist remarks and two things strike me-

(1) If he knew of a 6 foot 7, 20 stone gay black man would he be as keen to denigrate said person to his face?

(2) Why does he continually feel the need to express his bile on here as regards black people and gays? is he hiding something?

I abhor racism and homophobia, it is the remit of the uneducated and insecure, and it is inexcusable on here or anywhere else.

Have an enjoyable evening.

He has the right to be racist on here then i must have the right to attack it.
Which rights you are both exercising. Thank goodness.
Has it occured to anyone that the ED started this, this morning, do you think he should be reported, ?

It does get a little wearisome..........reading Doc's latest rant or trashing of my lifestyle and having to dredge up a weak smile to acknowledge that 'he's only having a larf'...........

Unfortunately, he acts asa pied piper to those who genuinely feel the way that he purports to.............. and then I have to sit and fume as the bigiots (an unholy alliance of bigots and idiots) give full cry to their prejudices.............

jackthehat, interesting, are you saying therefore that Spock is wrong and you (et al) are right - in an absolute sense?

How do you explain away that millions of people share those views, which are sometimes albeit coarsely worded emotions? This is millions of British people we are talking about here. Laws and Correctness will never change the human heart, indeed it will just fuel the inner resentment.

You have to bear in mind what actually goes on behind closed doors.

There you go mudflap, leggymessiah has told you.
I'm sure that you would not allow me the right to claim any sort of moral absolutism on this matter.................I speak entirely from personal experience..............
It is not for me to try to explain why such fear is harboured in so many hearts..........
And which to which closed doors are you referring ?

Doc's little tirades are just amusing.

They are so obviously over the top, it's hard to be offended (unless you are hoping to be offended).

It's like having an episode of Love Thy Neighbour on AB.
jackthe hat, nobody has any moral absolutism unless you venture into religion. I would like everybody to live together, but with just a little less clamouring for special rights and privileges and recognition from certain minority groups, emphasis on "special"
Thanks Pru xx
Gormless - I take it that you live in a world where you have no such problems...........a hetero-sexual WASP perhaps ? No wonder you see minority groups as wanting special privileges...........when usually all we really wish for is to live our lives untroubled..........

Doc has the right to post what he likes (within the guidelines of this site) and I have the right to be offended by it and to say so........
