Is the programme set in the East End, or in South London, as I orignally believed that the fictional borough of Canley replaces Lewisham on the map?

The fictional borough of Canley is set in North East London.
it is mainly filmed in south london, the station i think is in Merton or Morden.
The Bill was filmed once in Raynes Park(South west) and I got caught up in filming once in Dalston (East end) so it seems to be all over the place.

The Bill is filmed all over London. Part of the fun is recognising bits!

A lot of the early series were filmed around Goldhawk Road and Kensal Rise, especially near the Grand Union Canal. Camley Street nature reserve near Camden was the original "Canley Fields" in the Bill, but they use shots from parks all over London as well nowadays.

A lot of the filming happens around Colliers Wood. There was more than one occasion when i was staying down there that i had to "step round" a film crew.

I had repeatedly seen settings with the Canary Wharf tower in the background across the river....this would therefore mean the districts correspond in real life with Millwall and Rotherhithe south of the river?

It may be shot all around London, but Sun Hill is hardly remiscent of the Kings Road now, is it?

Every now and then you see the Millenium Dome
