I the USA they have a website called Support A Soldier which enables you to 'Adopt A Soldier' so you can write to them and send them care packages to show your support and that you care.

Do you know if anything like that is set up in the UK for our UK Military??

I don't know about 'adopt a soldier', but all the British Legions have a table or box for our troops, just take down anything you think might be appreciated,
You can do all sorts of things, eg, in stores where they sell two for one, you can buy that, keep one, and take one to the Legion,

I believe there are other places that operate this also.
You can send care packages to our soldiers!
I've got an email address lying around somewhere, I'll find it for you and post it up here if you like?
Each area of the country has a rep' so you'd need to get in touch with them for details and then once you'd prepared your care package(s) you'd send it to them and they would then send it on to the soldier(s)

Can't seem to find the email address right now but this website

http://www.supportoursoldiers.co.uk/

should tell you all need to know. It's a lovely thought and the soldiers really appreciate it :)

I think that website has mainly got info on about Xmas parcels at the minute - which they are limiting because the sheer volume of them can interfere with mail and stuff, but I'm sure that's where I contacted my local rep about sending my care packages off.
