Due to using hair removal cream - I think - I' developed a slightly darker (but noticible) skin tone on my upper lip. Is there anything that can lighten it again? A friend suggested this procedure called 'peeling' that uses acid to peel the first layer of skin which sounds a bit drastic. I was hoping there was some kind cosmetic that may help.

Maybe i'll stick to NeoStrata, as it recommended by top docs internationally.
Hi guys, I'm 20 years old and i can relate to all of you also. I am extremley upset over this issue and feel its become a problem in my life as well. I started using bleaching cream on my face a couple years ago and as time has gone on my skin has gotten progressivly worse. not only did i start breaking out all over but i feel my skin tone is different besides. i try to explain this problem to my mom and she understands im breaking out but she doesnt know what i mean when i say my skin tone is different. i dont know if it has to do with the bleech or what, but my skin looks differnt in every light i feel. i dont know what to do its driving me crazy im seeing the dermo and im hopefully going to be getting a skin peel soon. im so desperate at this point i dont know what to do. im hoping the peel helps and evens out my skin tone because i cant stand looking at my skin anymore, it never use to be like this before i started with the bleech. if any of you guys have any input or advice for me please respond, but i can honestly say i know how each of you is feeling and im here for you also!

Light of Day is a great product which I have used to even up my dark skin. It's a fairness cream but exceptional quality and it;s made in the UK. I've checked out the ingredients and they are not a bleach so good for your skin too. My face is lighter now (A nice cream colour and not bleached!!) and my marks have gone. I don't have to wear foundation it's great.  You can order from Asian Health and Beauty t: 0870 241 7535. Their website address is: www.asianhealthandbeauty.co.uk. Good Luck. My friends all use it and my skin looks fab now and it really works. I've tried absolutely loads of products but this is the only one that does what it says so I'm sticking to it. Jeena

Yeah it's miles better than Fair and lovely. With F&L your skin stops going lighter. But with Light of Day you skin tone goes as light as you want it to...and it really takes away all the marks and stuff. The jars are not cheap (i bought 4 jars of 50 ml for 89.80 plus postage) but they last absolutely ages... so not bad. My skin had loads of spots but that's cleared to..honestly I can empathise when you have skin problems. Some people don;t understand. It's awful because all you wonna do is look your best. Well I do now. good luck, Jenna x

Hi there.I also have the same problem with skin pigmentation & a darker upper lip. After reading this forum a few weeks ago, I ended up buying some NeoStra skin lightening gel for my upper lip & Neostrata Bionic Face Serum for the skin pigmentation.Already I can notice a difference after just 3 weeks. Although I must admit, the Face Serum is a gel and it hasn't helped with breakouts, so I probably wouldn't buy it again, the skin lightening gel is great though. Not sure how it compares to the Fair & Lovely cream as that sounds good also, but thort it might help to someone elses experience. It took me ages to find somewhere in the UK that sells Neostra, I believe Doctors and Beauty places on Harley Street have it, in the end I ordered online from this US website. I got it in 3 days and it cost 40 for both creams and packaging, so not a bad deal. Good luck.
Hi all, I used to have really bad upper lip pigmentation - tried everything. I started using NeoStrata skin lightening gel, it's amazing. Within a couple of weeks I had noticed my darkness going lighter. I got it for 30 from Citi Hospital, the laser clinic. It's hard to find stockists, but good luck everyone.

WARNING: JEENA is an advert - read her posts and you'll soon smell it too. I think she's associated to the stuff she seems to swear by, as I have read the exactly same comments on several other forums WORD FOR WORD! She seems to be selling this so called fairness cream everywhere. I e-mailed the company to ask it this is true, I got a reply the next day saying 'thank you for your feedback' haha. So don't buy Light of Day girls, I have never come across it before, and it's best to stick to well-known brands eg NeoStrata - just google it, or check out the reviews on www.makeupalley.com. You might have to register, but the sites great. You can read reviews before you buy anything - has saved me so much money!

Yummy xx
