Have always been a fan of this show (and its American spin-off) and wish it would return - but without Clive Anderson who ruins it. Can't honestly think of a single reason why it could not return.

Josie Lawrence and Tony Slattery were superb on that programme. As was Greg Proops.

I'd like to see a return
I watch it on FIVE

With Drew Carey, Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles.

Also love it!
It was a good show but I seriously doubt that it was unscripted.
I would imagine it was rehearsed and scripted, most of these shows are even though they claim otherwise

I used to like it non the less :D
It was scripted to a certain degree, loved the british version better, some of the americans are so not funny, and there blinkin shouting and whoop whoop audiences, i dont know who could replace clive any ideas???
I think you'd just end up with the usual round of comedians who we see often enough on panel game shows.

WLIA was brilliant for its time as it gave direct access to comedians doing the comedy club circuit/jongleurs etc. Nowadays we see them all the time and many are not that funny, take Mock The Week for example, only Frankie Boyle is funny.
