Is it just Me who thinks the credit crunch is engineered by the USA to distract us from their real aims? Last month it was Russias `unnacceptable aggression in Georgia` , prior to that it was Iran`s nuclear programme and North Korea`s failure TO COMPLY. Oil supply is their holy grail Can we really be that stupid to beiieve they are acting for ALL western interests? I urge You to watch Russia today SKY 512 to form Your own views. PS I`m not Russian! cheers Vlad the disclaimer!

Russia poses our biggest threat for 15 yrs. We need to work with them for economic harmony. They are a re-invinted nation with national pride & bullying is not the way foreward. The US dollar is roughly of the same value as the euro ,why do we deal in dollars ?
the dollar is nowhere near the euro, not that 'value' in that sense has anything to do with it. The US still has the strongest economy, which is why their currency is the standard. This could change - particularly as a result of the financial crisis; which is why I don't think they engineered it, it's the worst possible thing for them

You need to check your figures, Sterling more comparable to euro than dollar, wake up
Who cares? The credit crunch effects everyone except for the filthy rich. The knock-on effect is worldwide - or will become so if something isn't done about it. The key is in talking to these people, not by means of aggression, and if more women diplomats were used, the problems might begin to get solved. These threats and counter-threats are all instigated by men. Strange, isn't it??
