Recently I asked a question about the saying "silly rabbit tricks are for kids" and i got a REALLLY good answer! but it wasn't the one i wanted which was my fault because i didn't ask the question properly. What i wanted to know was, in what situation (if any) would a person use this phrase,

"silly rabbit tricks are for kids."

thanks

I think it would be used, like in the film, in a situation where someone thinks they have won etc when in fact the other person(s) have a trick up their sleeve.

In the film The Bride thinks she has beaten the last obstacle (GoGo) only to find that O-ren has more backup. O-ren tricked The Bride.
