I've noticed my 2 yr old has a grey 'shadow' on the white of his eye. Is this anything to worry about? Thanks

The whites of the eye can have all sorts of subtle shading and is usually nothing at all to worry about.

However, it is worth seeing an optician or your GP to put your mind at rest.

Thanks very much. I might get him checked just to be sure.
This is just a guess...but does the 'shadow' follow the curve of the darker iris? I have this, and my opthalmologist told me years ago that it was astigmatism...a change in the curvature of the eye's lense.
may be nothing at all to worry about, see this post.
