Isn't it about time they reduced their prices? Its been reported that they are losing out to Primark and other cheaper stores.

On the other hand do members of the public really care about those working in sweat shops, producing cheap clothing/shoes?

M&S did a survey. They found over 80% don't want the quality reduced and would prefer to pay the higher price to get it.
This isn't any old slump - it's an M & S slump
Tigger they have to be more competive they have had it to good for so long, there is no disputing that there food is quality, but come on people are struggling well some of us are!!!
I'm not surprised they're losing out to Primark and the like-I used to shop for my clothes at Markies a lot in my working days but I became disillusioned with the quality and the finishing especially of their clothes especially as their prices didn't reflect this. I have also shopped at Primark and some of their clothing is very good value for money. If I remember correctly Markies also were found to be selling goods made in sweat shops some years ago along with other High St shops such as Next, Gap etc
i dont know about the clothes bit but i know that the meat is from the same place as tesco! so what does that tell you???
A cow is a cow. Dressing it up to appear any different is against the trade descriptions act.
