Come on ...

... you know it's naff, and you shouldn't wear it ...

... but you like it.

I've got some socks from the men's dept at M&S. Came in a pack of 7, with the days of the week on them. If I wear them, I always wear the wrong day

(but i make sure that I don't wear the ones which have the previous day on them, otherwise it looks as if you haven't changed your socks from the day before).

How do show your exquisite taste and sartorial elegance ?

If you mean satorial in the concept of male tailoring....and elegance as in graceful.... then the two don't really go together do they?
;-)

I wouldn't wear men's clothes anyway.
Oh, you can't beat a man's shirt. Cuffs artfully folded back & a hint of cleavage showing, just to take the edge of the masculinity bit.

I hadn't thought it through that far Emilia.

I just took the Oxford English Dictionary definitions of:

Sartorial "adjective: of or relating to tailoring, clothes, or style of dress"

and

Elegance "noun: restraint and grace of style".

You could be right though. Maybe it does refer to men's clothing. And maybe the two don't go together. Perhaps we should warn:

Etc etc ...

But Emilia ... don't you even borrow shirts (salla makes it sound very sexy!) or boxer shorts (I still have a few pairs that belonged to my ex).

They're really comfy for lounging about in !!

=0)
urgh, I could never wear anyone else's knickers. Even if they had been washed & sterilised. Especially a man's. Or have I just known the wrong men?!

gathers up Pencil Dick's old boxers and bins them
!!!!!!

Skid marks -even when stale & faded....
Say no more.
Question Author
Yes, yes ... Enough !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
same goes for someone else' shirts....sweaty armpits....yellow stains....no thanks.!
Question Author
Okay, I take the point.

O should just add that my men's socks were bought for me, and have never had a man's sweaty feet in them.

Are all men so grossly sweaty and skid-marky ?

(thinks ... okay, probably, yes)
I have developed a tast for citrus colours recently and I have been buying loads of underwear from LaSenza in bright orange and yellow. My other half thinks i'm mental! He keeps saying "what if you get ran over and the doctors have to cut your clothes off, what are they going to think of a woman your age wearing those colours?" pmsl.

This is an example of what I wear:

I think he thinks that because i'm now 40 I should be wearing plain old white lace undies,or even worse, big cotton or nylon bras and apple catcher pants. :-O
Ok,that didn't work either! Oh well,if you can be bothered just look at the bright undies and bras on La Senza, the one I was trying to link to is orange and stripey.lol
It's funny how parents (mums) always stress you must wear a decent clean pair of pants in case you're in an accident.

To be honest, if the accident were that bad that they had to remove my clothes, I'd probably have s**t myself anyway....
Question Author
Salla ... I agree. I don't think you'd worry too much about your undies at a time like that.

Daffy ... they look very jolly. Fun you. x
