My yorkshire terrier seems to be constipated, but i cant think of what fibre enriched foods to feed him, can anybody help?

Bran sprinkled on his food might help, but I would get him vet checked in case there is a blockage of some sort. A good quality dry complete food would help too. Liquid parafin works, but stand well clear!

have some bran going to try it ,hopefully he,ll not need the pariffin fingers crossed!!!!! he seems to get half way through the number twos and gets fed up doing it then you have the lovely job of showering his butt !!!!!!!
flaxseed oil?? ask ur vet
My cat had that problem and the vet gave her Katalax laxative which is a stool softener, you can a dog version too - it certainly works on Smudge, she has to have it every day and is fine all the while she takes it

thanks everyone he seems grand now i think he has an aversion to pooping in his own back gardenprefers to do it when hes out walking have to take him twice a day now but it seems to work murphy says thanks too!!!!!
