Whilst I realise that AB'ers are from all walks of life and that not all have been blessed with a basic  education and intelligence, I am sometimes amused,  worried even, by the crass questions that sometimes get posted on Answerbank. I know some of them are a genuine windup, but I was wondering whether I really should be a subscriber to AB or should I just try and ignore the dumb questions and concentrate on the intelligent one's. That's my moan for the week.

Answer what you can/want and ignore the rest - that's what I do

Yes indeed FatBarry just ignore the one's you think are unintelligent, no-one's expecting you to answer questions you don't want to - and as for your next question, I'll answer it over on this link. just to recap CAPITALS denote shouting, bold denotes word highlighting :o)

Thanks guys, I must have been having a bad day yesterday. In the main AB is fun, just wondered how far to stretch the rude or sarcastic comments on the ones that are really asking for it.
watchout tho FastBarry......some on here who ask inane questions may decide to report an overly 'cheeky'; answer.  You'd be amazed just how thin skinned some of these folk are.  But the majority take the banter in the spirit it's intended.

Thanks for the warning kick3m0n, I do enjoy a bit a banter but I shall try and keep it within the realms of acceptability.LOL

How do we know that they aren't pre-school IT wizards looking for that early start? Haven't said that I suppose they would have mastered the basics of Google and so wouldn't need to resort to AB. I'll get me coat.
