Not having been abroad for many years we are concerned about resources. We understand the area is pretty and it look very much so. Any help whatsoever about the are would be much appreciated. Best regards. xx

I love Frigiliana - very hilly, very quaint.

Many years ago I walked down the dry river bed in to Nerja -strong walking shoes recommended.

The roads are a bit hairy, there is a very steep tight bend with a drop, but you will get used to it.

The bus is excellent - runs into Nerja frequently and is cheap and very clean.

Plenty of supermarkets in Nerja, one with a big car park; You will be able to get immediate provisions in Frigiliana itself, and there is an excellent baker and eating places.

I can't think which supermarket you mean, unless it is the one in Nerja itself.
Google maps is a bit optimistic with the 9 minutes drive to Nerja

There is (or certainly was) a bus service between Frigiliana and Nerja. I once stayed in Frigiliana and rather liked it - that was in mid September and the tourist season was over. I used to walk down and back but taking the bus up with shopping is probably the best solution.
