Anyone know a decent free disk partitioning tool that will let me resize and/or reformat part of an NTFS partition without trashing all the data i.e. from the free space? Cheers.

I assume you only have one hard drive, if this is so, this program here may help you. if you are looking to partition a second hard drive that has no operating system, its free to backup your files and reformat the drive and partition it however you like. also if you have a Maxtor hard drive, you can go to www.maxtor.com and they have alot of useful tools for this type of thing too.

u can try a program called partition magic. u can partition ur hard disk without reformating ur hard disk.

I need a free program. Partition magic is expensive, and I cannot get a hold of it through less conventional means.
