Protaras or Paphos?

Not sure whether to go to Protaras or Paphos next year. Are the food and drink prices about the same in each resort? Both resorts sound ideal for different reasons! Thinking about the Mayfair Hotel in Paphos or the Iliada Beach Hotel in Protaras. Any preferences?

We've stayed in Protaras once & Paphos many, many times (11 to be precise), so that will tell you our preference!

We love the climate in April/May - Sept/Oct. The prices are variable, but you get what you pay for.

I much preferred Protaras although Paphos also has a good side.

I thought Protaras was more laid back -fab beaches -suppose generally quieter altho not far Ayaii Napa if you want to take taxi in there.

You couldn't get more more laid back than the 'quieter' end of Paphos. We've spent many a relaxed holiday there & no louts hanging about either!

deffo Protarus, been there a few times and love it, stayed at the Iliada last year and it was very nice with good facilities, excellent food and its right on the beach.
